The honours of the morning went to Shamus who shaded Tavianne over 1000M, the last 600M in 35.5. Shamus looks in superb order.
Also impressive were Zola Express and Pure Incanto who strode over 1000M, the last 600 in 36.2.
Waisake and South Road were very strong over 1600M, home in 36.1. They are both very fit for their next outing.
Stablemates Maolla Miss and Laddie Boy and The Hottie and Regal Dice did identical work over 1000M, home in 37.8 and 37.3 respectively.
Last start winner Urenui and La Santana worked evenly over 1000M, the last 600 in 36.9. La Santana looks to be an early maiden winner.
Cuddle Stakes entrant Nom de Plume and Bananarama as a companion worked over 1200M the last 600 in 37.1. Nom de Plume will be very competitive on Saturday.
Tequila Spirit and Diogenes sprinted 1000M, the last 600 in 36.3. It was a good gallop.
Tavattack and Islington Lad also ran 1000M, home in 36.4.
The final gallops were all solo over 1000M or 1200M with 600M times in brackets. I’m Ronaldo (37.2) Master Courtsman (38.5) Legally Blonde (37.5) Hi Yo Sass Bomb (38.0). I’m Ronaldo looks an early winner after a great first up run.
