An un-named Zed filly and an un-named Vadamos gelding from the Patterson stable provided the quickest gallops of the morning, the last 600m of a 800m gallop in 36.7. It was good work by young horses.
From the same stable Cactus Rose and Sitdowndear ran 1000m, home in 39.0. Cactus Rose won well at the recent Stratford Jumpouts.
Star of Australis and The Underbelly had the pace on in a 100m gallop home in 37.3.
The remainder of the gallops were solo over 1000m approximatel with the 600m times in brackets Neighomi Campbell (39.4) Stevie Nyxx(40.1) Dari La Bella(36.9) Sophmaze(38.0) Mary Louise(37.5) Our Jumala(38.9) Takes Time(37.9) Terziere(39.9) Showbourne(37.7).
Showbourne goes to Riccarton and looks a sound prospect.
