Overnight rain of 13ml, track rated a soft 9.
From the Patterson Barn, stablemates Bananarharma and Deefore worked over a 1000M, the final 600 in 38.0.
Librasi from the Sharrock Stable and Hot Shockolate from the Revell Barn worked a strong gallop over 1000M, final 600 in 38.7.
Time honours of the morning to the Patterson pair of the Underbelly and Nom de Plume, well held over 1000M, the last 600 in 37.5. Nom de Plume will likely head to Te Rapa on Saturday with stablemate Mary Louise.
From the Harris Stable last start stablemate winners La Satana and Urenui worked over a strong 1200M, home in 38.2.
Diogenes and Sacred Angel from the Millar Stable worked over 1000M, the last 600 in 40.0.
Hiyo Sass Bomb and Regal Dice galloped together over 1000M, home in a respectable 40.4, as was later in the morning.
Liquid Les and Replica Road did similar work, last 600M in 40.4. home
Quality gallopers Butler and Belardo were well held over 1000M, the last 600 in 39.3.
The final gallops were solo over 1000M, times in brackets for the last 600, I Deal (39.1) Ucanttouchthis (41.0) Legally Blonde (38.6). Wattabreeze worked solo over 1600M, last 600 in 40.0 and hopes to head to Awapuni on Sunday on the poly track.
Stablemate Mrs Webb was un-timed, looks well and heads to Te Rapa on Sunday.
The Patterson Barn look to have stable representation at Otaki later in the week, Belladonna Lily hoping for a win, after four starts for four seconds and Bow Hill and Dice looking for good runs too.
