Darren and the team have been working hard since our last race day. With the rail being moved in, in preparation for our meeting on Thursday, gallops this morning were held on great footing.
Time honours today to Catsacharmer who worked solo over 1000m, the final 600 in 35.0. Taffy very happy with her work, “She fair hummed along” and is nominated for Wellington this Saturday.
From the Sharrock Stable Shamus/Tavattack worked strongly over 1000m the last 600 in 35.0 flat. Shamus is a likely starter at Trentham on Saturday. Waisake galloped over 1200M the last 600 in 37.6. He will line up at New Plymouth on Thursday. Ideal/Cream galloped over 1000m, the last 600 in 36.9. Out of Focus/Show us More galloped 800m, last 600 in 38.0. Stevie Nix/Play a Part worked over 1000m, well held, final 600 in 37.8.
The Wheeler duo of Pinsk/Lord Donovan worked on the sand, galloping1000m, the last 600 in 36.9. Lord Donovan will head to Wellington on the weekend.
From Patterson Barn last start winners Marie Louise and Terziere galloped a strong 1000m, the last 600 home in 36.6. Winkle Bay galloped a solo 1200m and will head to Trentham on Saturday. The rest of the stable worked over 1000m, times for the last 600 Whaea Meri/Star of Australis 38.8, Maolla Miss/One Bold Cat 38.5, Margarita Veloce/The Hottie 37.1. Coogee Kate galloped a solo 1000m, home in an impressive 36.7 for the last 600.
The only other recorded times were solo gallops for Lois Lane over 1400m, the last 600 in a very smart 36.9 and Neighomi Campbell galloping over 1000m, the last 600 in 38.8.
