A brilliant winter morning at the track, spring is definitely not far away.
With racing on Sunday at Hawera and jumpouts yesterday another light morning with track gallops – very happy about saving our course proper.
Time honours of the morning went to the Debbie Harris trained Urenui who galloped in company with the Taffy Hina trained Kitzacat over 1000M, the last 600 in 37.8.
Stablemates Za Spirit and Palmarow worked a solid 800m, solo, the last 600m in 37.9 and 38.1, respectively. Zaconic worked solo over 1000M, looked strong in its work and was home in 38.5. Ikan and Dojakata did similar work, the last 600 in 38.5.
Hi Yo Sass Bomb worked in company with Belles Beau over 1200M, both horses looked well, home in 38.2.
Meloni and Ilustrious did similar work and were home in the same time, 38.2.
Dee Vee Pee worked in company with Indian Gold over 1400M, the last 600 in 38.4.
From the same stable Ebony Bassett worked solo over 800M, home in 40.0.
From the Patterson Barn, last start winner Jaeger worked solo over 1000M, the last 600 in 38.6. Stablemates Bukushi and One Bold Cat looked comfortable over 1200M, the last 600 in 38.9.
