The day when the focus is on form, Taranaki Cup Day delivers. 

Featuring a thrilling line up of eight premier races including the Powerworx Taranaki Cup, 2YO Classic, and Oaks Prelude, the day showcases some of the country's best horses and jockeys, and fantastic prize money.

The glamour day of the Summer Carnival where attendees are encouraged to dress up for the occasion, and whether you choose a hospitality package, a ticket to our new event Glamchella, or take on the best punters, there is something for everyone today.

We wrap the whole day up with fabulous live entertainment.

Race times are issued by the TAB approximately a month before race day.
As guide; Gates open around 11am, first race is around midday, last race around 4.30pm.
