Taranaki Racing today donated $25,000 raised from the Rosie Myers Benefit Race Day, held on-course in December 2020, to the following entities, as per the wishes of Rosie and her family.

St John $5,000
Wellington Free Ambulance $10,000
Life Flight (Westpac Rescue Helicopter) $10,000

Taranaki Racing and Rosie were delighted with the support from the many clubs and individuals who contributed.

Rosie continues to make very sound progress and is now fully mobile as she rehabilitates.

A service to the sire, Ocean Emperor, will be put towards the fundraising which we will organise in the breeding season, from August onwards, and added to the above donations.
