MediaWorks Tradies Day Gallops into New Plymouth Raceway

Get ready to saddle up for a day of racing and entertainment as the MediaWorks Tradies Day returns to New Plymouth Raceway on Saturday, May 11th. This event promises to be a thrilling day for all, featuring a lineup of eight exhilarating races that will keep spectators on the edge of their seats.

But that's not all! The day is packed with activities to suit every taste and age group. From the beloved Love Racing Pony Scurry Series to the highly anticipated return of the Undie 200m, where participants will need to bring their A-game and their own undergarments for a dash to the finish line. And let's not forget the newest addition to the lineup - the Costume Race! Costumes will be provided, ensuring a riot of color and creativity as participants vie for victory in their quirky attire.

The stakes are high, with bragging rights and fantastic prizes up for grabs for every participant. No one leaves empty-handed, ensuring that the spirit of competition is matched by the spirit of camaraderie. Entries on the day from 11.30am between the two stands.

Gates open at 11:30 am with general admission tickets priced at just $5, and children under 18 get in for free. Food trucks are onsite all day to satisfy those taste buds.

And when the races are done, the fun doesn't stop! stick around after the final race to party with us and enjoy live music from the sensational "SuperFly" band.
