The duo of Batchelor Babe and Cya Maria ran a strong 800m, the last 600m in 40.2. This was a good gallop late in the session.
From the Patterson barn, Our Fair Trade and an unnamed Dalghar ran 800m, the last 600m in 38.6. Stable star Coventina Bay has settled in well at Eagle Farm. She and stablemate Puntura won a trial well at the Sunshine Coast. They are both ready for their Australian race day debuts according to reports back to the stable.
