Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway

Course: Sand Track
All gallops on the sand, with many local trainers travelling to Stratford to gallop on the grass.
Smart mare Lady Rudolph was hard held on 800m, the last 600 in 42.3. Not much has gone right for her in recent starts.
Remarx galloped 1400m, with Zeefa Zed, the last 600m in 42.5. Both appeared to work strongly.
The remainder of the Wheeler team worked over 2000m, with the 600m times in brackets.
Irish Flare and Shocking Bill (43.0), Redgum and Black Eyed Sue (41.9), Mr Enthusiastic (42.1). Black Eyed Sue ran a sound race first go at the hurdle caper, and is worth following.
