Thankfully we haven’t had the weather that some of the lower North Island has experienced.
Time honours went to the Janelle Millar trained pair of Special Sakura and Lauras Legacy who were smart over 1200M, the last 600 in 36.8 and the Alan Sharrock duo of Shacktime and Belle Tribute who were strong over 1000m.
Also from the Millar BarnShadow Ruler and Ruff Rider look to be ones to keep an eye on when they line up for their first start, working a strong 1000M, home in 37.0.
Fawnzor and Komocean did similar work home in the same time.
From the Patterson stable Freebelle worked in company with Unbounded over 1000M, the last 600 in 37.3. Oh Maimai and Roc All Night did similar work, recording same time.
Bridal Train and Bubbles were well held over 1000M, the last 600M in 37.2, Bridal Train will be looking forward to a run on a good track.
Kitzacat worked solo over 1000M, strong and home in 37.1.
Final Return also worked solo over 1600M, home in 37.6. One to watch at his next start.
