Brilliant winter’s morning at New Plymouth Raceway this morning, no frost but a heavy dew.
With trials at Foxton today and racing last Saturday it was an extremely quiet on the course proper.
Time honours of the morning were shared with Allan Sharrock trained trio of Dee Vee Pee who worked in company with Malachy over 1600M and Brigit who worked solo over 1000M, home in 38.0
Breadwinner and Fleur’s Star did similar work over 1000M, the last 600 in 39.4.
Ena Sharples and Explosive Impact were solid over 1200M, home in 38.5.
The Janelle Millar trained Special Sakura looks on track for another campaign, not pressed over 1000M, the last 600M in 38.8.
