An awesome autumn morning at the track this morning, gearing up for our first race meeting after track renovation this Saturday.
With jumpouts at Stratford yesterday, many of those horses nominated for Saturday headed there.
Time honours of the morning went to the Sharrock trained pair of Komocean and Bell Tribute, working a strong 1000M, the last 600 in 36.3. Dee Vee Pee in company with Dresse Par Jolie will return to racing this weekend at New Plymouth, returned a good time over 1200M, home in 37.2.
Looking to be one to keep an eye on for Saturday, Shacktime worked solo over 1000, home in a very respectable 36.4.
From the Revell Barn, worked solo as did the Patterson trained Jasper, both over 1000M, with 600M times of 37.0 and 37.1 respectively.
First up after a lay-off, the Hina stable has Summer Breeze, (37.3), Kitza Kat, (37.2), Charmzafarm, (38.8) all worked over 1000M and all nominated for their home track this week.
From the Wheels team, first starters The Masked Bandit and Straight Drive, cruised over 800M, the last 600 in 38.1. They will debut on their home track.
Prince Of Diamonds and Skattebo will look to line up on Saturday too, working a solid 1000M, home in 37.4.
