Quality galloper Butler was the trackwork star of the morning. He ran a solo 1000m, the last 600 in 39.7 quickest of the session. He will start in Foxbridge if he makes the field.
Suntribute & Looxlikeapro galloped 800m, the last 600m in 40.8. Both are likely to run at Hawera Sunday.
Last start quinella Zeefa Zed & the Big Boss ran 1400m the last 600m in 43.9. Both are very fit & love heavy tracks.
One of the Best had Tequila Spirit for company. They sprinted the last 600m of their work in 40.3. This was a sound gallop.
Black Eyed Sue & Lord Donovan ran 1200m, the last 600 in 43.1. Lord Donovan looks like an early maiden winner.
The final gallops were all solo over 800 or 1000m with the last 600m times in brackets
