Quite busy morning with time honours went to Allan Sharrock pair I Deal and Cream who ran 1200M home in 36.4. Both looked likely to win a race over the holiday period.
The time was equalled by Final Return and One of the Best after running 1000m. Both worked well.
Rocket Science and Littlehoovesgotmoves ran a strong 1000M the last 600 in 36.9. Littlehoovesgotmoves looked great after a successful South Island campaign.
One Bold Cat and Sit Down Dear were strong to the line after 1400M the last 600 in 38.5.
Stablemates Mary Louise and Rusty O’Ceirin also ran a strong 1400M, the last 600 in 37.0. Mary Louise is in great form.
The final gallops were all solo over 1000M approx, with 600M times in brackets.
Puntura (37.0) Conor O’Ceirin (36.6) Neighomi Campbell (38.0) Showbourne (37.2) Ginger Snapz(37.2) Side Bar (38.2) Liquid Les ( 36.5) Shamus (36.5) Cya Maria(37.7). Liquid Les was sparkling for a horse of his rating.
