Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway

Tuesday 24th May

Course Proper / Rails / Track Heavy

With Hawera races and local jumpouts in the past two days, only a quiet morning at the New Plymouth Track.

Even though they worked last The Bold Cat and MaryLouise ran the quickest last 600m (37.1) of the morning. Both were impressive first up and are very promising.

The Dutch Dane ran 1000m with Momento, home in 40.2.  Momento ran a good race first-up but may want a better track.

Bendermerry and Secret Amour ran 1000m, the last 600m in 38.2.  Secret Armour was unlucky at Rotorua and heads to Whanganui next up and will be hard to beat.

The Big Boss and Shocking Bill ran a strong 1400m, home in 38.3.  It was a good gallop and both relished the wet track.

Lois Lane sprinted 600m in 39.1.  She appeared to be travelling easily.

Twominutesinheaven worked solo over 800m, the last 600m in 37.8, well held.

Play A Part impressed when running 1200m, the last 600m in 38.7, finishing the gallop very strongly.
