After persistent rain, the track was waterlogged and not many horses worked in these conditions. Markers 21m, track heavy 10.
Two year olds Librasi and Sophimaze impressed running 1000m in 40.1. Both were travelling well and will be very competitive in the Ryder Stakes on Saturday.
The well performed Tavi Mac was matched with the impressive Butler. They ran 1000m, the last 600m well held in 40.5. They are in excellent condition.
The final gallop on the grass was Hot Shockolate who ran a solo 1000m, home in 45.1.
Quite a few gallops on the sand due to the wet.
An unnamed Shocking in the Wheeler stable ran 1000m with Black Eyed Sue, the last 600m in 40.0.
The remainder worked solo over 1000m on the sand with 600m times in brackets.
