COURSE PROPER – RAILS 10.5M TRACK – HEAVY
One Bold Cat and The Underbelly ran a strong 1400, the last 600 in 39.9 One Bold Cat finished well last start and is close to a win.
Mary Louise and Our Jumala ran 1200m, the last 600 in 39.5. Our Jamala appears to be on the improve.
I Don’t and Loch In Ora sped over 1000m, home in 37.5 Loch In Ora was scratched last week, due to track conditions, but shows plenty of ability.
Puntura and Winkle Bay ran 1200m , home in 39.8 Puntura probably should have won last start and is a likely Couplands entrant.
Hi Yo Sass Bomb and Times Up ran 1000, home in 38.5 Hi Yo Sass Bomb performed creditably in the black type event and will be a big chance back in any rating race.
Waisake ran a solo 1600m, home in 39.5. He continues to progress towards a NZ Cup start.
Zafaran ran 1400m solo, home in 39.1. He may target the Waikato Cup after a great run at Te Rapa last start.
Kelp ran 1200m , the last 600 in 39.8. This was a sound effort.
Tanzanite Rose ran solo over 1000m, home in 40.0
