Quite a few galloped this morning on the inside as we’re racing later today with a Twilight Meeting.
Time honors of the morning went to the Sharrock trained pair of Bridal Train and Sumi who worked a solid gallop over 1000M, the last 600M in 35.7.  Sumi will look to head to Wellington on the weekend.
With some great results coming out of the Millar Barn recently, the duo of Hanaman and Special Sakura galloped over 1000M, the last 600 in 36 flat.
From the Wheeler stable Kays Ruebe and Wyworry were strong over 1000M, the last 600 in 36.1. Tranzed and Jetalal did identical work, the last 600 in 36.7 as did Herbert and Black Betty, home in 36.4.  The pair head towards Trentham this weekend.
The Robbie Patterson trained runners Shameless Boy and full sister Catherinz looked well galloping over 1000M, the last 600 in 37.6.  One Bold Cat and Regal Dice looked impressive over 1200M, the last 600 in 37.5.
Last start winners Islington Lass galloped solo over 1000M, home in 39.0 and Dee Vee Pee worked in company with Shacktime  over the same distance, home in 36.6.  Shacktime was very green at her first start but looks promising and one to keep an eye on.
The last gallops were all solo, 600 times in brackets, Nom de Plume over 1400M (37.7) all others over 1000M, Puntura (37.6), Tokyo Hot Night (37.0), Side Piece (36.7), Fleur de Blues (36.5).
