Course Proper. Markers 18m

Busy morning at the track which was a Dead 4 – markers out 18m

The Allan Sharrock pair of Darci La Bella and Sumi worked very strongly over 1000m, the last 600 in 35.5.  Whilst Sumi looked a bit disappointing last start, the race wasn’t run to suit.

Stablemates Alhambra Lad and Tavi Attack did identical work, the last 600m again in 35.5.  It was a pleasing gallop.

The Janelle Millar pair Pure Incanto and Shezabelter went a solid 1000m, home in 35.8.  Pure Incanto is worth following.

Hi Yo Sass Bomb and Jamaican Express ran 1000mm the last 600 in 36.9.  Hi Yo Sass Bomb ran an improvers 2nd last start and a win looks eminent.

Last start winners Eddiewood and Bold Bette ran 1000m, the last 600m in 37.4.  Both look in fine fettle.

Tequila Spirit and Zola Express worked evenly over 1000m, the last 600 in 36.3.  They were well held.

Castle on the Hill and Madam Sass worked over 1200m, the last 600 in 38.1.  Castle on the Hill looks close to a win.

NZ Cup runner up Beaudzwell was paired with Chief Sequoia over a round on the sand sprinting the final 600m in 38.8.  Both look great after spells.

The final gallops were all over 1000m solo with the last 600m times in brackets.  Legally Blonde (37.3), Coventina Bay (38.0), Ginger Snapz (36.6), Sinarahma (36.6), Hilary Banks (38.8), Littlehooves Got Moves (38.6), Tavi Mac (37.0), Twitchy Squirrel (38.5).  Coventina Bay was under a strong hold.
