Trackwork at New Plymouth Raceway

After 182mls of rain in the weekend, the track was still only in the slow range with markers out 24m.
Time honours of the morning went to Our Fair Trade and I’m Ronaldo, who ran a strong 1000m, the last 600 in an impressive 36.7.
Le Villi was partnered by Pinsk over 1200m, the last 600 in a respectable 38.7. Le Villi will either go to the SC Maiden at Te Rapa or be reserved for the rescheduled Oaks Prelude on her home track.
Showusmore and Sumi were paired over 1000m, home in 37.1, a very pleasing gallop.
Beaudzwell and Chief Sequoia ran a strong 1400m gallop, the last 600m in 39.6. Beaudzwell was strong at the finish and will run in the rescheduled Powerworx Taranaki Cup at Awapuni this week.
From the Millar team, Shezabelter and Tequila Sunrise worked attractively over 1000m, the last 600 in 37.9. it was a good gallop.
Shocking Bill partnered Quaff over 1600m, the last 600 in 39.8. Shocking Bill is ready to resume.
Blackeyed Sye and an unnamed Vadamos in the Wheeler stable ran 1200m, the last 600 in 38.8. They were well held at the line.
The final gallops were all solo over 1000m, last 600m times in brackets.
Legally Blond (38.1), Keen To Run (39.0), Sinarahma (40.0), and London Point (37.9), who worked very well.
