With trials at Foxton today and restrictions on the course proper due to winter track, a fairly quiet morning at the track.
Time honours of the morning went to Allan Sharrock trained last start winner Bella Timing who worked solo over 1000M, the last 600 in 38.7. From the same stable Brigit and Librero, who did similar work, home in 39.1.
Ena Sharples and Dress Par Joli were well held over 1200M, the last 600 in 40.3. Malachy and Indian Gold did similar work, home in 40.7. Likewise, Dee Vee Pee and Ryders Legacy (40.0) and Explosive Impact and Breadwinner (40.4).
Ikan currently being trained on course due to Jades’ injuries – wishing her a speedy recover, worked solo over 1000M, the last 600 40.9.
The Patterson Barn pair of Bukushi and Illustrious were not pushed over 1000M, the last 600 in 41.5.
Kitza Kat (41.5) and Urenui (40.8) both worked solo over 1000M.
The Janelle Millar trained pairs of Ayteem and Timemakesthewine and Azezam and Rocaphilly were the last timed gallops of the morning. The first pair over 1200M, home in 41.6 and the second pair covered the last 600M in 40.3.
