Arincina and Ladies Man worked very strongly over 1000m, home in 38.9. Arincina is coming to hand well and Ladies Man was very strong at the line.
One of the Best and Diogenes ran 1000mm the last 600m in 41.4. Diogenes looked improved with its first-up run.
Swiss Kitty and the Dutch Dame worked early over 800m, the last 600 in 40.5.
Trainer Rob Patterson has seven going to the trials at Foxton today.
Cherry Rose and Steve Nyx ran 1000m the last 600m in 42.2. Cherry Rose is a nomination for Apprentice Day at Hawera on Thursday.
Butler and an unnamed Sacred falls gelding worked an even 1000m, the last 600m in 42.2, the unnamed gelding did well to keep up with the better performed Butler.
The final gallops were all solo over 800 or 1000m with 600m times in brackets.
Two Minutes in Heaven (39.8), Tequila Spirit (40.1), Rocket Science (42.9), Hot Shockolate (44.0), Kiana Belle (40.1), Cya Maria (41.3). Tequila Spirit especially seemed to be cruising.
Jumpouts are planned for Friday, with the first raceday at New Plymouth since February planned for July 23rd the Powerworx Opunake Cup Raceday
