Busy morning with over fifty gallops on the course proper alone.
Time honours of the morning went to Shamus & Terra Pretta who strode over 1000M, the last 600 in 35.2. Shamus looks to be peaking perfectly for the Telegraph.
Loch n Ora and Sumi also impressed over 1000M, the last 600 in 36.9.
Belladonna Lily and Sindee were well held over 1000M, the last 600 in 37..
Herbert shaded Lord Donovan at the end of their 1000M gallop, the last 600 in 37.8. Herbert is nearing a return to the races.
Hanakin and Final Return went a solid 1000M, home in 38.2.
Hi Yo Sass Bomb galloped 1000M in company with the Dutch Dame, the last 600 in 38.2. Hi Yo Sass Bomb continues to go great races.
Mary Louise and The Underbelly weren’t after time in running 1000M, the last 600 in 39.0. They both look great and continue to race well.
From the Harris barn Beaudzwell and La Santana ran 100M, home in 37.5. Beaudzwell is a possible starter for Whanganui.
One Bold Cat and Nom de Plume ran an even 1000M, the last 600 in 38.1. One Bold Cat is in top form.
Za Spirit and Urenui were strong at the line after galloping 1000M, the last 600 in 37.2.
Waisake galloped a strong round picking up an un-named Zed from the Sharrock Barn, taking 37.0 for the last 600. Waisake worked very well in preparation for the Wellington Cup.
Leave the Light On and Tiny Diamond ran 1000M, home in a very respectable 37.5.
The Fearless One and Contribute weren’t after time over 1000M, the last 600 in 38.9.
Tranzed and Go Yougoodthing worked evenly over 1000M, the last 600 in 37.4. Tranzed looks improved by his first run up.
Maolla Miss and The Hottie were well held over 1000M, the last 600 in 38.00.
The identical times were also recorded by Malarchy and Alexandra Quick and the pair of Arcachon and Bridal Train. Arcachon was very impressive winning at Otaki and looks promising.
The final were all solo over 1000M with 600M times in brackets;
